Live Performance Painting
Saturdays in the West Village are bustling and filled with curious pedestrians, peeking in shop windows, dining at cafes, and ready to discover surprises.
In a live performance painting session of 5 very happy hours, Bex set up an outdoor studio and interpreted her surroundings as a large-scale abstract painting for all who passed by to enjoy.
As people craned their necks and stopped to watch, they formed a personal connection with the wine shop and had the opportunity to participate in a wine tasting.
The bustling atmosphere of the neighborhood and its favorite wine shop - @terrysnyc - translated effortlessly to canvas.
Bubbling aquas and brick reds. Quirky purples and golden hour ochre. Swooping strokes and flowing flourishes.
The afternoon was tender and creative and joyous and connecting - bringing color and creativity to the sidewalk explorers of all types.
