On the famed first Monday of May in 2024, partygoers flocked to the Whitby Hotel to celebrate with Vogue Club at their floral and festive Met Gala Watch party. 

Bex live-sketched guests in their bedazzled ensembles as they mingled in the romantically old-world atmosphere - perfectly on the gala’s “Garden in Time” theme.

Bex created a bespoke stationery for the event, inspired by dark fantasy and fairytale’s fleeting romance. A deep rose floral border with Vogue Club branding was embossed to look like it was plucked out of a storybook.

To add to the fantasy of the night, designer Melke NYC crafted Bex a custom gown and silk faille coat that filled the room with joyful whimsy. 

Swaths of eyelet lace sourced from India built the sheer dress which was then hand dyed and embellished with naturally shed emu feathers from 2 lovely rescue emus and finished with sparkly stones. Meanwhile, the coat totally lived many lives as its shape transformed via strategic bustling, and its custom lining print delighted those who caught a glimpse.
